Watch rash

Anyone else’s watch randomly start to irritate their skin? I’ve worn my Apple watch since 2019 and had no issues up until now. I got a random rash directly under the sensor. I washed my watch, waited for the rash to heal. Then I started wearing my watch now the rash is back.

You appear to have either developed an allergy to the watch or you are experiencing a burn from the lights on the back of the watch. Only a dermatologist can tell you for sure.

Have you tried switching the watch to the other wrist to see if the issue appears there?
