Is it possible to get an adapter to connect Apple Pencil 1st generation to my iPad pro 11" 3rd generation? I have an iPad pro 11 inch 3rd generation and an old Apple Pencil 1st generation. I have been able to locate this adapter USB-C to Apple Pencil Adapter - Apple which says it works for iPad 10th generation. Would it also work with my device? The ports are correct but I don't know if it will have the functionality to sync my pencil with my iPad instead of just charging. I can't find any other official adapters with the correct ports. I am having trouble finding info online about making this happen. Thank you.

See my answer from How to connect Apple Pencil 1 to iPad Pro… - Apple Community. Your iPad is not compatible with Apple Pencil 1st generation. To pair the Apple Pencil to your iPad, you need to buy Apple Pencil (2nd generation).
