Pairing iPad with MacBook Pro
When I try to pair my iPad and MacBook Pro, I get a message on my iPad saying "Macbook Pro is not supported." These devices used to pair, and both are up-to-date.
MacBook Pro 15″, macOS 12.6

While there are numerous activities that require Bluetooth to be turned on, those activities do not Bluetooth pairing in the traditional sense. Instead, see: Use Continuity to connect your Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch - Apple Support

Can you clarify what you mean by "those activities"? (I did not indicate why I wanted to pair the two devices.)
The activities are listed in the linked Apple article. If you wish to do something else, please provide that info.
My question regards pairing the two devices, not Continuity.
As the message states when you attempt that “Bluetooth pairing is not supported”.
Hi again,
As I stated, the devices used to pair without issues. I would like input from someone who knows how to fix the described problem. Thank you.
