Airdrop video compression issue

I'm going insane.

I can't find a way to send my uncompressed videos from my iPhone to ANY device.

Doing video editing with CapCut I set my video output to 4k/60fps. The video size is for example 300 mb.

Using dropbox, wetransfer or any other cloud-based service (including iCloud, of course), iPhone is compressing it before the upload with approximately a 90 mb file size in result.

Using airdrop, it shrinks the file size to half by 150 mb, in both cases the video quality is compromised, driving me absolutely nuts.

Any help on this is VERY appreciated!

actually I have the same issue. I created a video from Insta360 and exported it to my Photos folder on iPhone. Information says the file is 201.6MB. when I try to AirDrop it to my MacBook, it compresses it and the file sent is 76.4MB. The video no longer looks as sharp.

It's based on all the cloud-based solutions I tried.

Dropbox is not an Apple product. Contact the app developer here --> App Support or Dropbox Help Center - Dropbox Help

I just created a video at 4K x 60 fps and air dropped it to my Mac and the result does not show what you are saying.

The file name indicates it has been transferred from some cloud drive and not from an iPhone

Please use AirDrop or Upload to iCloud Drive using the Files app. The videos will get transferred/uploaded exactly the same way it was taken.
