Apple Mail spam is driving me Nuts!

I keep getting spam emails and can't seem to stop them. I have reported them, blocked them, and marked as spam but they keep coming back with a new email variation. For example, "

C-vs_mV*mrios@batipa.com and then I'll get another "CVSTeam<cnbc@refyawyuvgychjbtjyaant.5149761474240.heise.de.

All these emails are drivimg me crazy. Common varaiation of names are from CVS, Dicks, Walmart, COSTCO and then a bunch of random ones. Please help me stop these emails from getting through!

Thank you!

Unfortunately this has very little to do with Apple. If these emails are not directly from companies that you have accounts with (and have nothing to do the company's seasonal sales or products related to past purchases, and you have disallowed/unchecked/unsubscribed to "marketing" emails from your account on their sites), it appears as though your email address has been "passed around" to spammers.

My recommendation is to keep marking them as spam. The system (as with any email server) will eventually learn that these are spam...OR...you may need to change your email address. This sucks, but there are many people that this happens to, a lot of whom aren't even Apple customers.

Personally, I don't really use mail settings all that much. So you might want to wait for others to respond...

However, I DO use junk mail filters, as well as continue to manually delete/mark things as junk.

What I do is:

Open Mail on my MacBook Air

From the toolbar, select "Mail"

Then Settings

Select "Junk Mail" tab

Select "Enable Junk Mail Filtering" and fool around with the "checks"
