The autocorrect plist is buried within the Pages application & it is not a good idea to edit or delete anything within an application package. Are you wanting to edit the autocorrect dictionary on your Mac? The user dictionary in your home library applies to all applications & can be edited as described in this old discussion.

Also, as you are using Mojave, macOS 10.14.x, you should update the iWork '09 apps to version x.3. You can download the standalone updater from this page. Also, make sure Mojave has been updated to 10.14.6.

Thank you very much, Peggy.

I have done the update to 9.3, and am running 10.14.6 already.

I'm curious why you say not to mess with things inside the application package, as I have done so before with no ill effects—I had just forgotten how to get there, and the filename of the plist I need has changed. Editing the plist itself is something one should NOT do if they do not have any knowledge of coding, but with care it can be done without messing things up—or at least it SHOULD be able to.

Thanks for the reminder about the user dictionary, but there are some things that I do not want to be universally applied across all applications—only in Pages for a specific set of documents.

I greatly appreciate your help and have found and edited what I needed.

Thank you very much!

Ken
