M1 MacBook Pro Doesn’t Charge When On

My M1 MBP only charges when the power is off and the screen is closed. It doesn’t charge when on. The charge light illuminates for a second then turns off no matter what the battery % is. Anyone else have this problem with the M1 and resolved it?

Charging issue with 13 inch MacBook Pro M1 Recently since a couple of weeks ago, my mac has started behaving weirdly. When I connect the charger(Original) it shows charging but the battery keeps draining and sometimes there's an automatic connection and disconnection of the charger that happens. I have to restart my mac multiple times to actually get it to start charging again normally. However, when I connect the same charger to my iPad, it works fine. Can you tell me what the problem might be?

M1 Macbook Pro 14" Not Charging Properly I have a M1 Macbook Pro 14". Lately when it is charging via it's USB-C ports it alternates between charging and not charging. I left it to charge overnight starting at 66% and woke up to it at 70% after a whole night of hearing the charging sound come on intermittently (ie it stopped charging and started up again). When it charges via MagSafe this doesn't happen and it behaves normally. This happens with all the USB-C ports on it. Moreover, the cable and wire are fine because my iPad does not have any of these issues and charges normally.

Try and see if optimized battery charging is on. This could be the reason that it is not charging. Check system settings>battery as well
