I had to rebuild my computer and when I did there's no Gray bubble on my replies. Is it a glitch?
I do not have a gray accented bubble on my replies since I rebooted to a stable version of macOS

As shown in the support document you posted from, your own replies should be in blue or green depending on how they were sent. Other people's replies should appear in gray.
