Can you turn off messages from certain devices on a MacBook Air?

Just got a MacBook Air and I signed into my Apple ID on it, but the Apple ID is shared with my whole family so I get all of their messages as well as mine. Is there a way to turn off messages/facetime from other devices that aren’t my phone? I want to be able to text using my number without getting all of my family members’ texts as well.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 10.12

Each person must have their own Apple ID. Please refer to Make sure that each family member has a unique Apple ID - Apple Support:
