In Itunes I can't play more than one track at a time-this when I'm trying to listen to an album which has been installed-MP3s. I haven't got the shufffle button clicked so I'm baffled.

That symptom usually means that your songs have come un-checked, since iTunes/Music will not automatically advanced to an unchecked song.
If you can't see any checkboxes, enable them in Music Preferences > General, "Show -- songs list checkboxes" and see if they are checked.
