Can't move desktop items
the Items on my desktop can't be moved. (all items) I can drag and drop into a file, simply can't place them where I want. I have a MacBook Pro and OS is Ventura.

Seems two different d̶i̶s̶t̶r̶i̶b̶u̶t̶i̶o̶n̶s̶ descriptions of what the issue is...(?)
Control click on the Desktop make some changes.... Stacks? Sort? View Options? Clean Up By?
