The region setting for this device cannot be used with Apple Pay - Canada

So this is my information just to clarify any doubt

Country - Canada

Phone - iPhone 13 with IOS 16.3.1

Region on iCloud account and iPhone - Canada

Card I'm trying to Add - PC Financial Mastercard (They are supported on Apple Pay - https://www.pcfinancial.ca/en/digital-banking/apple-pay/)

Things I have done already

Restarted the phone

Changed the region and changed it back to Canada

Signed out from account and signed in back

Still same issue. Ideas?

Just figured out. For anyone who's having same issue: There are 2 places you can set the region. In your Apple ID and under Settings -> General -> Language and Region. My issue was that my apple id region was set to Canada, but the region under "Language and Region" was a different one. Once I change that to Canada, this issue got resolved.
