How to remove microphone from SMS / Text / iMessage window When I close my wallet on my phone after sending a text message it often accidentally activates the microphone and starts recording what is being said (I think for dictation - the the recording 'wave' is red)). I do not want this to happen. From similar questions, I think it can be deactivated, by disabling Siri which I do not want to do. I think I would like to remove the microphone screen toggle bat another solution might work.

That is because you have multiple Dictation Language set for your Keyboard. Please see the pic below which is in a way self-explanatory
