I have MacBook Air m2 chip and get the error "the application can't be open" when I try to install the application. I tried to show package content >> contents >> macOS >> control + click open the file but no use..
May you please help!

In that case, you shouldn't have to do anything but dbl-click the .pkg file. No need to control-click it or go into Contents.
If you have an antivirus app or heaven forbid CleanMyMac installed, try installing them while in Safe Mode.

FWIW, Ventura requires the October 2022 or later releases of Photoshop (version 24) and Ilustrator (version 27)
Which application? It sounds like it is corrupted or not compatible.

A - Applications installed and used on Old Mac does not necessarily translate to working in Ventura macOS 13.2.1
As it stands now, without actual naming the offending Application - this will be a Guess Work affair going almost nowhere

I don’t know why that would make any difference. They can become corrupt and they can also be incompatible with an OS version.

I’m sorry I wasn’t clear. It’s Adobe applications Illustrator and Photoshop.
Both of them have the same problem.
I redownloaded the files again but it made no difference.
