Backup support

Hello, I want to remove the option of storing my messages on my iCloud but wanted to know before doing so if and when I do so will I automatically lose my messages that I currently have on my phone or will I still be able to keep those?

Access data saved on iCloud. Hi, I am trying to view what is backed up on iCloud. I pay for the lowest TB plan because I thought I could, at the very least, access my information and, at most, delete items in bulk much easier than via my iPhone OR save things to my PC. I am specifically looking to access my messages tonight. What is the point of messages on iCloud if not for the ability to access them on another device? And why have iCloud the app when it is iUseless? (Joke, I love my iPhone but this is pretty ridiculous.)

All messages will remain on your device. And,they will then back up in your device iCloud backup
