Red sun in the Apple Weather App

I used the weather app today for the first time in a while. All of the hourly and day suns were red. I had by mistake downloaded an app from the App Store, called “The Weather” and that is the one I opened. I close that app and went back in to see Apple version of the app, Weather, and found the sons were red in there too. Thinking that one of the alternative weather apps I have on my phone had messed up the data for my Apple weather app I deleted all of the apps, and then started over with just the Apple app. Mini uninstall and install us later. I looked up the problem and found this forum that linked the red sun problem to settings in the phone’s Accessibility features.

How is an ordinary, non-technical user supposed to be able to figure these things out? I don’t really want to spend my life on Apple support lines are going down to the store every other weekend. I have a similar complaint for unexpected behaviors I’m currently experiencing with the talk to text feature on the Apple keyboard.
