Can I get iPhone 14 pro max in the US that use sim card. Recently I bought Iphone 14 promax in the US through a friend but she bought one that uses esim but unfortunately, I live in Uganda where we dont have provision for esim. I plan to travel to Newyork early March this year and wondering if I can exchange it with one that uses sim card

Sorry no. In the USA all models 14 support just eSIM.
You can try selling it in another country supporting eSIMs.
