setup failed 300254

I recently bought two new HomePod Mini's. Both setup, working fine for over a month. Woke up this morning, one of them won't connect. Isn't being found by Home app. Spent three hours troubleshooting. Keep getting Setup Failed 300254, but can't find any help on this error code. Thought plugging it into my MacBook and updating it would do the trick, but no.

Hi warrenharrison,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. We understand you are running into an issue with your HomePod, and we're happy to help. Sounds like you've done a lot of troubleshooting already, so great job there. We'd also like to have your reset your HomePod and test if this continues. A reset can resolve a variety of issues. See how here:

Remove HomePod or HomePod mini from the Home app
1. Open the Home app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac that's signed in with the Apple ID that you used to set up HomePod.
2. Tap or click HomePod.
3. Select the Settings icon  or scroll down to HomePod settings.
4. Select Reset HomePod.

Select Remove Accessory.
1. Reset HomePod or HomePod mini
2. Unplug HomePod or unplug the power adapter for HomePod mini. Wait 10 seconds, then plug HomePod back in.
3. Wait 10 seconds, then touch your finger to the top of HomePod and hold it there.
4. The white spinning light will turn red. Keep your finger down.
5. Siri will say that your HomePod is about to reset. When you hear three beeps, you can lift your finger.

See more about those steps and how to restore here: Reset HomePod or HomePod mini - Apple Support

Thanks.
