You have provided no details of your iPad model or the installed version of iOS/iPadOS. More information would be helpful.


What are you attempting to achieve, or resolve, in connecting your iPad to your computer? Are you connecting to a Windows PC (with iTuned for Windows installed) or a Mac computer (with iTunes or Finder - as appropriate for the installed version of macOS)? You should note that while connection to Windows PC or Mac computers is possible, you’ll not be able to connect to other computers or operating systems.


If your PC or Mac does not recognise your computer when connected, try using a different USB Port. Some Users report that connecting to an older USB Type-A port can resolve difficulties encountered with USB-C ports. Otherwise, this support page may help with troubleshooting:
