iCloud+

my 128gb full in iphone and decided to store some photos in icloud by upgrading to iclould . so bought 50GB plan. when i tried to enable photos in iclould, im seeing tha pop up saying i have 62GB of pics need more space. i just need 50GB of photos to go into iclould. How do i do that ? Please help. Thanks.

Sorry, there is no option for partial use of iCloud Photos. If you turn on iCloud Photos on a device, all photos on that device are synced with iCloud. They also remain on the phone but you can potentially reduce the storage needed on the phone by turning on Optimize Storage so that some or all of the photos on the phone are smaller optimized versions. See: Set up and use iCloud Photos - Apple Support


Apple does not currently offer cloud-only storage for photos. If that is what you want or need, you may want to explore 3rd party options such as Google Photos or Dropbox.
