I recently attended an Apple workshop showing some new creative ways to use your phone camera, VR, and other tools on the iphone. We downloaded and saved the project as an epub and then share dropped to our phones into books. I have tried sharing the file via email and into my google drive and neither way can I access or see the file as all that shows up is the title in text.

You may want to try searching for the original <"textitle".epub> file you downloaded.

Maybe it is possible to:
Transfer files wirelessly between your iPhone and computer with email, messages, or AirDrop - Apple Support. Once on computer the file may be easier to work with.
