App no longer available in App Store

I had an app on my phone which I downloaded from the Apple App store. I had an issue with it so I tried to remove it and redownload it. I had the app account bound to my apple ID so I could recover all the data. I now cannot find it in the Apple store. How do I recover the app I made purchases in?

It sounds like you have searched for the app. A developer may remove an app from the store and then it is no longer available for downloading.
