FPS drop after iOS 16

Hi, in PUBG and all games that support 90fps I can't run my game at 90fps etc. My fps drops when I start recording. Games get choppy as if I'm playing at 45fps on screen recording. I didn't have this problem before iOS 16

Hey there Fatihbyrmm1,

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities. To get started, since updating your iOS have you also ensured that your apps are updated as well? For help with checking for updates, check out this link here: How to manually update apps on your Apple device - Apple Support

How to manually update apps on your iPhone or iPad
1. Open the App Store.
2. Tap your profile icon at the top of the screen.
3. Scroll to see pending updates and release notes. Tap Update next to an app to update only that app, or tap Update All.

If your apps are already updated to the most recent iOS version, do you notice if your iPhone feels warmer than expected when trying to record your screen and play a graphic intensive game? If so, your iPhone will adjust the performance if the device get's too hot.

For more details, and steps that can help with troubleshooting performance issues, check out this link here: If your iPhone or iPad is running slow - Apple Support

Keep your device from getting too hot or cold
iOS or iPadOS adjusts your device's performance if it's become too warm due to external conditions, like being left in a hot car or used for an extended time in direct sunlight. Move your device to a cooler location and let its temperature adjust.

Very cold temperatures can also slow your device. If your device runs slowly after being exposed to cold, move it to a warmer location.

Hey there Chris_V89

Thank you for your attention, but I don't think the problem is related to phone heating because when guided access or screen recording is turned on, the screen quality of the device drops to 45 fps. I think it's a software bug. There was no such problem before iOS 16. I contacted Apple support and told you the problem. They told me that they had forwarded it to me, but that it could be fixed with an update because it was a software problem. Please search the topic and you will see that there are many users experiencing this issue. (the phone i use is iphone 14 pro max)
