I listen to audio from my phone on my AirPods and use apple watch timers when I work out. I want my audio to keep playing when my timer goes off. Having the audio stop every time my timer goes off is really annoying. This is only an issue with airpods and not other non-Apple bluetooth headphones.

If the AirPods are pausing only until you dismiss the alarm, and then the music starts again, this is expected behavior.
