Increase access to iPhone calendar for family

I have a larger family, more than 6 as do many users of Apple products. How can we request they allow more members to have access to the calendar? I understand capping the subscriptions but not the calendar.

Hi Blessedmama8,

To clarify, are you referring to the maximum number of people allowed in a Family ySharing group? If so, it is correct that six members is the maximum. If you'd like to see tweaks to how that feature works or expand it to include more members, we can recommend submitting feedback for Apple here:

Take care.

I would really appreciate being able to add my entire family (8 children, my husband and me) to our ever changing calendar. As my children mature we give them an iPhone, so that we can all stay connected and no one gets left out. However, with the current specs, we have to delete my older children in order to add my younger ones. It hurts their hearts a bit when I have to remove them. They are not full fledged adults yet, I still need them to understand what our schedule looks like without me constantly reminding.

Thank you for listening to my plea.

Kind Regards,

You can share the calendar with anyone, not just family members. In the Calendar App tap on Calendars, then tap on the i next to the calendar you want to share, and choose any name in your Contacts.

You may want to create separate calendars, perhaps one for adults, another for work or for individuals, and others for the children, either grouped together or separated by age.
