Just bought some AirPod gen 3s from a someone selling them, NOT the from apple themselves. When I go to connect then to my phone it says “Cannot Verify” and there’s a text that says they cannot be verified as AirPods and may not behave like them. Does this mean they’re fake.

It's always best to buy from an Authorized Apple Reseller or directly from Apple to ensure you're getting the real deal.
