My Epson 3640 printer will not connect for a scanning operation. I just upgraded all the Epson drivers, and printing is not a problem, just scanning. I'm running Ventura 13.1
There should be an ICA driver available on the Epson website. Install that to scan from Image Capture or Preview, or from the System Settings.

Another point to note is that the software you download for the scanner must also state that it works with your specific Mac operating system.

I can't get my scanning ooperation with my WF-3640 Epson scanner / printer to work No problem at all printing, but the scanner won't connect. I just upgraded the printer / scanner driver. Didn't help
