iMessage not working on Mac following MacOS update to Ventura 13.2.

iMessage was working fine on my macbook pro prior to the recent update to Ventrua 13.2. The app is working fine on my iPhone. Has anyone had the same problem and found a fix?

A few things to check is if it also happens in safe mode.

How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support


If it does happen in safe mode then I would create a test user and log out of your regular account then log into the test user one and see if it happens there too. If it does NOT do it in the test user then good news its not system wide it would be something in the regular user that is causing it to happen. However if it DOES happen in the test user then more troubleshooting may be needed.
