Orange blinking microphone icon after FaceTime call!!!

So I had a FaceTime call on my work phone and after I ended the call a few minutes later I picked up the phone to put on the charger and I noticed I had an orange microphone icon in the left-hand upper corner blinking I had to turn my phone off to get it to stop blinking But I tapped the icon and it wouldn’t do anything. What is that that made me feel like I was being spied on or some thing and this is my work phone so it’s a business phone for a company a little confused need an answer.
