My phone will not pair with my MacBook Pro. It says that it is not supported. How do I fix this?

Bluetooth pairing with a computer isn’t supported. It is not required to use features like handoff, continuity, or airdrop.

You just need to be in proximity and signed in with the same Apple ID on both devices.
