In some countries and regions, you can buy an AppleCare Protection Plan within 1 year of your purchase of an eligible Mac, Apple TV, or other device.
Which countries are these? I live in a country where there is no Apple Store. If I can buy an AppleCare Protection Plan within 1 year for my AirPods, do I have to go to an Authorized Service provider?

Below you'll find a couple of options that may apply:
Buy an AppleCare plan online
Get coverage for your eligible iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, AirPods, or other device.
Choose a product to cover
Buy an AppleCare plan on your device
1: On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings. Or on your Mac, choose the Apple menu (), then choose System Settings.*
2: Go to General > About.
3: Tap AppleCare+ Coverage Available. If you don't see AppleCare+ Coverage Available, check to make sure that your device is eligible.
4: Follow the onscreen instructions to complete your purchase. You can see the price of the AppleCare plan when you follow these steps.
* If you can't find System Settings, choose About this Mac > Support, then click the Add button.

It has been now around 65 days since I bought the AirPods, and I missed the deadline (60 days). I am wondering which countries can buy AppleCare within 1 year. My device is not eligible but I have heard if you do a check on the AirPods at an Apple Store they can give you AppleCare within 1 year. My country does not have Apple Store but I can visit my neighboring countries :) or maybe I can visit a Authorized Service Provider?
