How do I pair my Bose sound bar to work with an Apple TV remote

First, on the Bose remote, hold down the Bluetooth button until you see a blue blinking light on the sound bar. This makes the sound bar discoverable by the Apple TV remote. Second, go in to settings and then select Bluetooth devices. You should now see the Bose device is now discoverable. Third, select the Bose sound bar and then exit out. Your Apple TV remote should now control the Bose sound bar.

editorial: It would’ve been nice if someone on this support page had simply explained this super simple process rather than make it super complicated. That said, it would’ve been equally nice if the Bose system manual had explained how simple this was. Honestly, it’s like two high-end technology companies are not endorsing one another’s products or cooperating. The Bose sound bar is a perfect addition to a 4K Apple TV. Please remember to be nice to one another and encourage one another whenever possible Bose doesn’t sell television boxes and Apple doesn’t sell sound bars. Sounds like a marriage made in heaven.
