Old tech

I have an iPad bought in 2008 and a Samsung tablet nearly as old. What is the responsible way of disposing of them?

Old devices still listed. Can I delete them? I just noticed that I have 3 iPad devices listed on Apple.com. 2 are no longer in use, should I delete those?
