macOS M1 Mac Mini: Wake from Sleep Resets Resolution, Refresh Rate, and Arrangement

On a dual monitor setup: HDMI and USB-C monitor. Since installing Ventura, the M1 Mac Mini (2020) will reset the arrangement, resolution, and refresh rate. No change of ports. I like to limit my displays to 60hz and 1440p for both power conservation and stable frames -- and it used to keep these settings.

Mac mini 2018 or later

Uncheck Automatically rearrange Spaces based on most recent use

Uncheck Each display has separate spaces.

Boo. It used to work.

I take that back -- none of these work if I do a full restart. These used to not erase arrangement and display resolution preferences.
