My iPhone used to have speaker icon in the right bottom corner that would allow my texts and emails to be spoken- how get it back? On screen to use

I think I used microphone for texts? Why is it gone on texts?

Input a Phone number first.

If the phone entered is activated with iMessage then the mic icon will appear automatically.

You can only send audio messages to another iPhone through iMessage and not through SMS.
