When I try to connect my camera (Lumix DMC-ZS100) to MacBook Pro with M1 chip using macOS Ventura 13.1, I am unable to download pictures from memory card to Photos. No device shows up in sidebar using USB cable and selecting PC in USB mode. Anyone who has experienced this issue have any advice on what to do to resolve this?

Have you tried connecting the SD card with a card reader? Sometimes that works better than connecting the camera.
Also, try using the app image Capture in the Applications folder-- it can be less finicky.

Thanks for your suggestions. Unfortunately, My new Mac with macOS Ventura won't recognize the camera as a device, in Photos or Image Capture. So need to figure out what to do now in order to transfer pictures.
