I tried looking it up and everywhere says to click on Edit, then tick off the box that says "Show on My Profile and in Search" but that option doesn't show up for me on mobile or on desktop. The only options are to change the playlist thumbnail, name, description, and add songs.
Is there some other way to make my playlists private or how can I get this option to show up? Thanks in advance.

Had this issue. My solution was that I never set up my music profile. After setting my profile up, the option appeared as the cited instructions stated.

I found the profile set u by going to “listen now” in the apple music app then clicking the profile icon in the top right. Once there, there was an option to set it up. I’d grab pictures, but the options aren’t available to me anymore as I already set my profile up. Sorry i can’t be of more help.
I’ve found songs and playlists added to my Apple Music library that I hadn’t heard of before. I didn’t add them and it creeps me out. Privacy is important to me!!!
