External display HDR loss in 3840x2160@144hz after update macOS from 13.1 to 13.2

Option available only in lower refresh rates. I use SwitchResX to set up resolution. This worked in the previous version of macOS. Monitor connected over thunderbolt to DP cable.

macOS Ventura 13.2 Broke High Refresh Rate Monitors I have a 16" M1 Pro Macbook and a 4k 144hz external monitor (Aorus FI32U) connected directly via USB C. On Ventura 13.1, I was able to select 144hz refresh rate from the Display preferences, following these instructions. (Selecting the external monitor instead of the internal Macbook display.) This worked great: my monitor had a smooth refresh rate and excellent resolution. After updating to Ventura 13.2, I immediately noticed that high refresh rate had been turned off during the update. I went back to the Display preferences, and 144hz was no longer an option -- only 60hz. Since nothing changed other than the 13.2 update, the 13.2 update seems to be the culprit.

Ventura 13.1 Broke my External Display Resolutions (low resolution)! Since the latest update I was defaulted to 3840x1600 and I wanted to change this however when I saw the Displays menu, suddenly most options shown were low resolution! I'm running the same monitor with the same Thunderbolt cable between two intel based Macs and the difference is striking. Anyone out there who has the same problem and managed to find a fix or do we all need to downgrade to 13.0?

External monitor is stuck at 30hz on HDMI display port I have a MacPro 16-inch, 2019 with 16GB memory. Running Sonoma 14.0 OS. The laptop has 4 x USB-C ports. When I connect an external 4K monitor via an HDMI cable to a USB-C hub to my laptop - I can only get 30Hz display output. This causes mouse lag. Which drives me CRAZY!!! When I set the display reolution to below 4K (below 1080p) then the refresh rate on the external monitor is available at 60Hz. When I plug my Linux laptop onto the same monitor - I get a nice handy 60Hz refresh rate on the same USB-C HDMI hub. (Exactly the same HW except the laptop). When I use a USB-C / DP cable on my MAC, then I get 60Hz My question: Why can MACOS not recognise or set HDMI 4K refresh to 60Hz, and in the process fix the mouse lag between internal and external screens? While Linux and Windows does not have the problem?

I rolled back to macOS Monterey and the option is available. No bugs with blanking the main screen when using an external display.

On macOS Ventura 13.0-13.1, I have this option, but sometimes the home screen flickers (tried to disable TrueTone, etc.)

On Ventura 13.2 there is no HDR option at this frequency for my Chinese monitor.

I have the same exact issue.

On 13.2, it happens on my 2023 Macbook Pro 14" with M2 Pro. It does not on my 2020 Macbook Air with M1.
