Updating an iPad 8 gen
I need help to update my ipad 8 gen. to ios 15.7 and when i go to settings and press the update there is no update option

The iPad 8, is be capable of running iOS 16, so will not be offered iOS 15 in any way.
What happens when you go to Settings ➜ General ➜ Software update then?
Do you get offered iOS 16?
What version is the iPad 8 currently running? Settings ➜ General ➜ About ➜ Version. What does it say there?
