iCloud + storage and adding a child

I can't add my daugther to my icloud + storrage.

She is in my family group, with her own apple id, she is 11 years old. All other apps are shared automatically, like apple music and apple TV.

My other daugther, who is 12, had no problems and is in our family group and also uses our 2T storage package.

MacBook Air 13″, 12.6

Hey Liesloes,

Sounds like you're unable to share your iCloud storage only with your 11 year old daughter, but everything else is sharing as expected. We'd be happy to help out. To get started, make sure it's set up properly using these steps:

Share iCloud+ with everyone in your family
To share iCloud+, you need iOS 11 or later, iPadOS, or macOS 10.13 High Sierra or later. For the best experience, make sure that your family members' devices meet these requirements, too.

Learn what to do if a family member already has iCloud+

On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
In iOS 16 or iPadOS 16 or later:
1. If you haven't set up Family Sharing yet, set up Family Sharing
2. Go to Settings > Family.
3. Tap Subscriptions.
4. Tap iCloud+.
5. Follow the steps to share your existing plan.
6. Use Messages to let any family members with an existing iCloud+ plan know that they can now switch to your shared iCloud+ plan.

In iOS 15 or iPadOS 15 or earlier:
1. If you haven't set up Family Sharing yet, set up Family Sharing
2. Go to Settings > [your name].
3. Tap Family Sharing.
4. Tap iCloud+.
5. Follow the steps to share your existing plan.
6. Use Messages to let any family members with an existing iCloud+ plan know that they can now switch to your shared iCloud+ plan.

On your Mac
In macOS Ventura or later:
1. If you haven't set up Family Sharing yet, set up Family Sharing
2. Choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click Family.
3. Click Subscriptions, then choose iCloud+.
4. Click Share.
5. Follow the onscreen instructions.

In macOS Monterey or earlier:
1. If you haven't set up Family Sharing yet, set up Family Sharing
2. Choose Apple menu  > System Preferences, then click Family Sharing.
3. Click iCloud Storage.
4. Click Share.
5. Follow the onscreen instructions.

If you continue to have issues afterward, it'd be best to contact Apple for further support using this link: Get Support

We hope this helps out.

Take care!
