Set up laps in apple workout app
Hi everybody,
I need to run on an athletics tracks (400m) for 6 laps and I would like to see data (like pace and time) for each lap. I read that athletics tracks could be recognized automatically but mine isn't.
When I set up "custom workout" and choose 6 repetitions of 400m, whitout any warm-up or cooldown and than change custom view to set "lap" data, those data doesn't appear on the screen once custom is closed. I assume that it's because there is only "400m" and no interval and app doesn't know how long a lap is.
How can I do to set up my 6x400m running and see laps values ? i read that i can double-tap on the screen on each lap to create a segment (not a lap) but as I have to run pretty fast, I would prefer that everything would be already set up in the watch and set up real lap and and not segment.
Also, even if audio alerts are enable, i don't have any regardless which mode i'm. I see a resume of each 0.5Km on the watch but no audio. I use wireless earphones and listen to music when running. Alerts are working fine with strava app.
Thanks
