Says SIM card failure but my SIM card is in my iPhone

Your SIM card may be installed in your iPhone, however it may not be performing or has failed.

You can shut down and restart your iPhone and see whether that resolves the issue. If it doesn’t then you can remove the SIM card and then re-install it again and see whether that resolves the issue.

If the SIM card still fails, then I recommend that you contact your carrier and get the issue resolved or get a new SIM card issued.
