Sleeping and waking up problem with: Mac Studio / Ventura / CalDigit VR2 Raid

After my Mac Studio goes to sleep, whether on its own or I tell it to, the raid system would randomly start up again by itself (w/o waking up the Studio). Then the raid would go back to sleep by itself, then wake up again. The timing of all this is very random, it can wake for 1 minute then sleep, or wake for 1 hour then sleep, so during the night I can hear it doing it all night long.

I have tried disconnecting the WiFi first before putting the Studio to sleep as I thought internet activity may possibly trigger this, but it wasn't. The only sure way to keep the raid asleep is to completely turn off the Studio. So this tells me it is the sleeping Studio that is giving some sort of direction to the raid to tell it to wake up. How strange.

Here are my Energy Saver settings:

Put hard disks to sleep when possible - ON

Wake for network access - OFF

I cannot figure this out and is driving me nuts.

Did you try— Put hard disks to sleep when possible - OFF

if no change add —Wake for network access - ON

and compare your results.
