Synching iMac with Mac Air

Both my iMac and Mac Air are running Ventura 13.1. How do I synch them so that I can update Word Documents on both computers simultaneously?

can i work on files from my imac on my laptop I have an iMac 2013 and want to purchase a MacBook Air 2021 ( M1chip) so that I can work on files held on my iMac in a different location and the changes be seen on the document on both devices ,so I am not tied to my desk! Using MS Word on iPad and MacMini Is it possible to have both devices working from the same set of files? I use iCloud and don’t want to with OneDrive or Dropbox.

Use iCloud or other file synchronization cloud service like OneDrive, GoogleDrive, etc.
