Audio switching on calls

My 13Pro (ios 16.0), while on a phone call, randomly changes the audio source from bluetooth to headset from speaker to headset from headset from speaker to bluetooth to somethimes what appears to be nothing. At first I thought it was all to do with my Jabra 75E bluetooth headset. HOWEVER, even when earpieces are put in case or sitting on desk without being touched on desk... it changes audio sources . Very difficult to have a conversation.

Any advice?

Hello ASKSandler,

For this type of issue, we'd recommend disabling Bluetooth on your iPhone and then test a call to see if the issue continues to occur. You can try this with the following steps:

  1. Go to the Settings app
  2. Tap on Bluetooth
  3. Disable Bluetooth
  4. Test a call

Disabling Bluetooth will tell us if the issue happens with or without headphones. Which would isolate this further for us.

Issue continues? If so, proceed to the next related step below:

  1. Make sure your iPhone is completely up to date: Update your iPhone or iPad
  2. Then test another call.

In case it persists, does this only occur when these specific headphones are connected? Do you have any issues making FaceTime calls? As these answers will help us to isolate the behavior further.

Hoping to hear how it goes, take care.
