iPhone, 14 pro problems with Verizon cellular signal strength

I just got the new iPhone 14 Pro and my cellular signal strength is horrible compared to my iPhone XS Max. I’ve seen similar complaints elsewhere, and wondered if a fix is in the works?

How do I fix weak cellular signal issue on my iPhone 16 Plus? My IPhone 6 always had great signal reception in my area and especially in my apartment but it finally died and I had to go for a new upgrade. Sadly this phone, IPhone 16 Plus, in the exact same location only gets 1 bar perpetually and has dropped calls and I have only had it for less than 24 hours. After some searching, others have the same issue and claim it to be the current ios. I am already starting to feel I now have a very expensive paper weight. There is no fix on an iPhone to enhance cellular signal strength. Please contact your carrier.
