My MacBook doesn't have sound after disconnecting the HDMI cable! with headphones it has sound but without no! what can I do?

Go to system settings/preferences, click sound and set the output to your Macs internal speakers

Automatic audio output Whenever I plug HDMI to my MacBook the audio output in settings would switch accordingly. Now however when I plug it in, the output stays in the computer speakers and I have to manually change the settings. Very annoying why does this happen?
