No content in emails

Since installing Ventura 13.1 on my Mac, some (but not all) of my emails have no content. The preview shows the name of the sender and says "This message has no content". Both my iPad and iPhone show all the email content; it's only a problem on the Mac. Today I booked a hotel online, and they sent me two separate emails; when viewed on my Mac, one email had content and the other was blank from this same sender. I assume this is problem is due to macOS Ventura. How to fix?
