How do I turn off F8 from auto launching Apple Music?

The F8 button launches Apple Music.

How do I turn off F8 from auto launching Apple Music?

I only want F8 to function as intended, pause and stop audio playing, no mater what app is playing audio.

I do not want it to open Apple Music!

I am an Apple Music subscriber but, I do not want F8 to do this unexpected launch of the app when I need the memory on an M1. Apple Music is a big memory hog.

If you are pressing the Play/Pause button on your Mac, and no audio or video content is in the forefront, it is expected that Apple Music would launch. Apple always welcomes customer feedback and suggestions here:
