Safari on MacBook Pro keeps losing cookies multiple times per day
I have been losing my mind lately, and searched extensively for an answer, but nothing has worked. While using my 2021 MacBook Pro (M1 Pro, 16GB RAM, storage is nowhere near full) I will be actively working in Safari (currently V 16.2, but this issue was occurring prior to that update) and it will clear all my cookies mid-session. I will lose all my cookies and I may be working on 3-4 sites at a time. It requires me to log back into every site and I may lose unsaved progress at any given time. This has happened up to 8-10 times in a single day and it's extremely frustrating when I'm trying to get work done. Never once allowing the computer to sleep and never closing Safari. I will have no other apps running at the same time. Just me and Safari having a staring contest to see who is going to blink first lol
I've tried any potential solution I have found from search:
- Toggling on and off cross-site tracking
- I have turned off develop menu
- Clearing all website data manually
- Updated Safari and MacOS (now on Ventura 13.1)
- Rebooting
- I'm not blocking any cookies
- I have never had any extensions installed
Anyone have any experience with this? There has to be some resolution here. Thanks in advance.
